Chartered Accountancy course in short is called CA Course, is a professional courses related to Auditing, Taxation and Accountancy, offered by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI, New Delhi), which is established under the Act of Parliament through Chartered Accountancy Act, 1949. The duration of this course is approx. 4 years with three levels - Foundation, Intermediate and Final level. CA is course is not difficult but it has detailed curriculum which requires lot many subjects reading across all the group. Total 20 subjects are there and each subject has lot many topics/chapters. It takes minimum 3 to 4 years to complete the course. CA course curriculum has lot of rules and regulation which need to be undergone at different times like Article ship training, Orientation, IT classes etc. Students, who write two groups (8 papers) at a time, can complete the course faster.
CA will have three levels - Foundation, Intermediate and Final. Registration fee has to be paid at each level. The fee structure as of now (year 2018) is Foundation fee- Rs 9,200, Intermediate fee - Rs.18,000 and Final fee- Rs22,000. This fee can be paid online/offline at chapters/regional offices of ICAI. Once fee is paid the registration will be valid for 3 years for Foundation, 4 years in case of Intermediate and 5 years in case of Final registration.
In general, CA fresher gets Rs 6 to 8 lakhs p.a. in the Industry. In case of CA ranker or both group pass out students will get close to Rs 10 to 12 lakhs p.a. In case CA possess CS or CMA equalization, then he/she get few more lakhs extra than normal CA.
